UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Foxglove Harbor Health · Remote · contract

Foxglove Harbor Health is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for patient scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 620 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around patient scheduling that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in patient scheduling. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
