UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Bluepeak Quill Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Fresno, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in service alerts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
