UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Clearpath Beacon Community Partners Group is a Miami charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
