UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)
Foxglove Orchard Banking Services · Remote · part time
Foxglove Orchard Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Chicago serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review.
We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly.
What you will do
• Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people.
• Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure.
• Audit screens for accessibility and readability.
• Work with developers so designs ship as intended.
• Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails.
What we are looking for
• Comfort with Figma or a similar tool.
• A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens.
• Two or more years of UX or product design experience.
• Care for plain language and accessibility.
Nice to have
• Background in deposit accounts.
• Experience running usability tests.
Working arrangement
• Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days.
• Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Chicago.
• We reply to every applicant.
