UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)
Bright Corner Early Learning · Remote · contract
Bright Corner Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Salt Lake City, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review.
You would join a large organisation of about 475 people, working mostly from home.
What you will do
• Audit screens for accessibility and readability.
• Design for tasks around enrolment that people do under time pressure.
• Maintain a small design system of reusable components.
• Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people.
• Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails.
What we are looking for
• Care for plain language and accessibility.
• Comfort with Figma or a similar tool.
• Two or more years of UX or product design experience.
• A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens.
Nice to have
• Background in enrolment.
• Experience running usability tests.
Working arrangement
• Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week.
• Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Salt Lake City.
• We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
