UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Foxglove West Arts Center · Remote · contract

Foxglove West Arts Center is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for ticketing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in ticketing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
