UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Sable Community Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in donor records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
