UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)
Stonegate Kestrel Markets · Remote · part time
Stonegate Kestrel Markets is a St. Louis retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review.
You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management.
What you will do
• Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails.
• Work with developers so designs ship as intended.
• Audit screens for accessibility and readability.
• Design for tasks around pricing that people do under time pressure.
• Maintain a small design system of reusable components.
What we are looking for
• Comfort with Figma or a similar tool.
• Two or more years of UX or product design experience.
• A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens.
• Care for plain language and accessibility.
Nice to have
• Background in pricing.
• Experience running usability tests.
Working arrangement
• Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days.
• Fully remote, with a monthly team day in St. Louis.
• We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
