UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Northwind Iron Insurance · Remote · full time

Northwind Iron Insurance is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in policy renewals. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Atlanta. • We reply to every applicant.
