UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Amberfield Nest Community Partners is a nonprofit in Memphis supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around donor records that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in donor records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
