UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight River Medical and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in clinical evaluations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
