UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Umber Banking Services Group and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Design for tasks around loan files that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
