UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)
Silverline Lantern Learning Group · Remote · full time
Silverline Lantern Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work.
You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home.
What you will do
• Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people.
• Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure.
• Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails.
• Maintain a small design system of reusable components.
• Work with developers so designs ship as intended.
What we are looking for
• Two or more years of UX or product design experience.
• Comfort with Figma or a similar tool.
• Care for plain language and accessibility.
• A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens.
Nice to have
• Background in school calendars.
• Experience running usability tests.
Working arrangement
• Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule.
• Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Raleigh.
• We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
