UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Nova Union Health provides primary and specialty care in Detroit, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in electronic records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
