UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Summit Kestrel Community Partners Group · Remote · contract

Summit Kestrel Community Partners Group is a Atlanta charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of about 492 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around donor records that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in donor records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
