UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Corner Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in customer complaints. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
