UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Highbridge Willow Insurance is an insurance company in Charleston with claims and service teams, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in policy renewals. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
