UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Nova Meadow Learning Group is an education provider in Cincinnati serving students and families. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around learning materials that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in learning materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
