UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Westbrook Granite Markets · Remote · contract

Westbrook Granite Markets serves neighbourhoods around Louisville with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in online orders. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
