UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Corner Financial and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in vendor spend. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
