UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Silverline Beacon Press · Remote · part time

Silverline Beacon Press is a printer and publisher in Tampa serving local and national clients, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around print quotes that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in print quotes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
