UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Beacon Financial and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around payment disputes that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in payment disputes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
