UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Harborlight Rook Early Learning · Remote · part time

Harborlight Rook Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for licensing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 145 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in licensing records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
