UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Bluepeak Haven Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around San Antonio, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
