UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Highbridge Thistle Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Hartford. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in student accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
