UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Westbrook River Financial Group provides savings, lending and payment services from Honolulu. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around payment disputes that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in payment disputes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
