UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Nova Rook Community Partners is a nonprofit in Omaha supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 61 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around donor records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in donor records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
