UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Rivermark Haven Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Anchorage area, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Families are partners. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around learning materials that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in learning materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
