UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Bright Willow Early Learning Group · Remote · full time

Bright Willow Early Learning Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
