UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Redstone Amber Medical Group is a Savannah company producing monitoring and surgical equipment. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in training materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
