UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Westbrook Sable Community Partners is a El Paso charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around food distribution that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in food distribution. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
