UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Thistle Insurance and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in policy renewals. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
