UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Harborlight Pike Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Providence, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Families are partners. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
