UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Community Partners and adding a UX Designer whose main responsibility will be accessibility review. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Design for tasks around food distribution that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in food distribution. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
