UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Stonegate Harbor Health Group is a healthcare provider in Honolulu with clinics and support teams, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in insurance authorisations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
