UX Designer - accessibility review (remote)

Cedar Juniper Arts Center is an arts centre in Atlanta with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around school partnerships that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in school partnerships. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
