UX Designer - accessibility review (Raleigh, NC)

Fernwood River Markets Group serves neighbourhoods around Raleigh with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in online orders. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
