UX Designer - accessibility review (Providence, RI)

Bluepeak North Early Learning runs childcare centres in Providence caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in licensing records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
