UX Designer - accessibility review (Providence, RI)

Rivermark North Insurance is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for customer complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around customer complaints that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
