UX Designer - accessibility review (Providence, RI)

Clearpath Granite Community Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for benefits enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around benefits enrolment that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
