UX Designer - accessibility review (Portland, OR)

Summit Learning Group is an education provider in Portland serving students and families, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
