UX Designer - accessibility review (Pittsburgh, PA)

Northwind Vista Early Learning · Pittsburgh, PA · contract

Northwind Vista Early Learning is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for meal programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 777 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in meal programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
