UX Designer - accessibility review (Pittsburgh, PA)

Amberfield Sable Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Pittsburgh. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in policy renewals. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
