UX Designer - accessibility review (Pittsburgh, PA)

Silverline Sparrow Arts Center is an arts centre in Pittsburgh with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in exhibitions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
