UX Designer - accessibility review (Oakland, CA)

Silverline Works is a cultural organisation in Oakland presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a UX Designer to lead our accessibility review. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around ticketing that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in ticketing. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
