UX Designer - accessibility review (Oakland, CA)

Summit Linden Banking Services Group is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for card disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around card disputes that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in card disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
