UX Designer - accessibility review (New Orleans, LA)

Nova Lantern Early Learning runs childcare centres in New Orleans caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
