UX Designer - accessibility review (Nashville, TN)

Westbrook Lantern Insurance is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in underwriting files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
