UX Designer - accessibility review (Nashville, TN)

Nova Maple Community Partners is looking for a UX Designer. The job centres on accessibility review for client intake, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 116 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around client intake that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in client intake. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
