UX Designer - accessibility review (Nashville, TN)

Northwind West Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Nashville. We are hiring a UX Designer to take on accessibility review. You would join a small organisation of about 74 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around survey data that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in survey data. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
